Clean a vibrator only as the exact model’s instructions allow. Check the device and any removable parts separately, let them dry fully, and keep the charger away from water. “Waterproof” does not identify one cleaning method for every product.
A practical care sequence
- Identify the parts: Check which parts are removable and which contain the powered housing or charging connections.
- Read the cleaning directions: Use only the method and cleaning products allowed for that model.
- Dry fully: Allow the surface, removable parts and charging contacts to dry completely.
- Charge in a dry place: Reconnect the correct charger only after the device and contacts are dry.
- Store clean and dry: Follow the storage instructions and keep the product away from dirt or damaging objects.
Two mistakes to avoid
Assuming rinsing permits soaking: Submersion needs explicit permission in the model’s instructions. A photo with water droplets is not a specification.

If the instructions are unclear
Check the model name and ask before trying an unlisted cleaning method. Do not apply another model’s water-use or charging instructions to your device.
